Waaaaay back in 8th grade we were doing state testing and I was done, but I was also done with the book I had been reading, so my english teacher say, "I just got two new books you might like. Which one do you want to read?" I couldn't read the title of the one, and the other one was Twilight. So of course I go with the one that I can read. I read the back and I am disgusted by the fact that it is about vampires, because a girl showed me a book earlier about vampires and it was all blood and sex. So I dilly-dally in reading it. I read Stephenie's bio and read she went to BYU. I'm stoked, because I want to go to BYU too, and the fact that she went there is that there is a 99% chance she has the same values as me, so I decide to give it a try. I read it that day and stayed up to finish it. No one else was reading it at the time, and at first I thought, "What's wrong with me?" But then I got over it because, I mean it's Twilight!!! I was sad at first, because NM wasn't out yet, and I thought that Bella and Edward's story was over. I was so excited when I found out that New Moon was coming out!!
So that's my conversion to Twilight.

Hmm...I never found myself obsessed with the movie portrayals of Edward and Jacob. I prefer my own little fantasy world where the fictional Edward Cullen straight from the book is my boyfriend. lol!
